Hui has more than 7 years of experience in HCI Research, Data Analytics and User Centered Design of Intelligent and IT products in USA, Sweden, China. He works on product design and development at Saltside Technologies - the creator of leading online marketplaces: Bikroy, ikman, Tonaton, and Efritin.

Prior to joining Saltside, he worked on a variety of user centered design and data analysis projects on Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Analytics (LISA) at Pennsylvania State University from 2010 to 2014. Hui has previous R&D experience from Intelligent Automation, Inc. , think tank for US federal customers including Department of Defense (DoD), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State, and his Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Uppsala University, Sweden, and a M.S.and B.S. in Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology,one of the C9 League in China. He is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and serves as an officer of the HFES Penn State Chapter. He plays guitar, and is a huge fan of classical music, and award-winning photographer.
